Kashmir , a tract of subcontinent who has not taste freedom yet due to the political clashes between India and Pakistan . Every person in this subcontinent acknowledged this . I'm here not to describe Kashmir issue . I'm here not to describe that how many days have passed Kashmiris are in curfew . I'm also not here to give you detail about the injustice India is doing in Kashmir for last 72 years .
Dear Pakistanis , I'm here to tell that what actually we are doing in the name of solidarity with Kashmir .What our nation is doing for kashmir .
I don't care whether Kashmir is integral part of India or not . I also not interested in whether India is doing brutality in Kashmir but today the topic of my discussion is , Is Kashmir really our aort or we have just our self interests behind this solidarity . also Is really their any sympathy in our nation for Kashmir , or it is the requirement of our so called ego .
Following are the list of questions that I asked to you all in succession

What Ummah is doing for Kashmiris ?

My first and the most important question of the discussion is
- Is only Kashmir needs Jehad ?
In Pakistan , Many of our Mufti hazrat gives alot of fatwas on Indian forces that are brutalizing Kashmiris . They use different references from Ahadith and Quran Pak , which allow to do Jehad on Indian forces because of their brutality .
Believe me I'm not against this all , but the question comes to my mind is , Is their only Kashmir who needs Jehad ? . I means , in present era Muslims are brutalized in almost all world , whether you look in Burma , Syria , Iraq and most important in Palestine . None of our Mufti hazrats give fatwa against them , non of our government officials speak about them , even none of our Social Media muftis speaks against them , gives fatwas against them , wants these issues Internationalized .
Another question is then why this happened ?
You know what the answer is ?
You must have a great courage to listen that , So the thing is we people don't have interests in these areas . None of our water is flowing through these areas , none of these issues hurt our ego , none of these issues makes our politics bright and none of these issues give a huge amount of nationalistic voters .
Now I'll discuss what we are doing for Kashmir as a Nation , as a Ummah .
It's very interesting topic that what Muslim Ummah is doing for Kashmiris . You know why I called it interesting , when you read below detail believe me , you'll also find it interesting .
Lets have a look on reaction of responsible Islamic States ;
This discussion is not started without reaction of Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan , UAE Crown Prince . The most brilliant reaction for India's brutality on Kashmir is from him .
Recently , as a protest with India on its brutality in Kashmir , Crown Prince awarded Indian PM Narender Modi with highest civilian award ' Zayed Medal ' of United Arab Emirates .
Now tell me , topic is interesting or not ?
But as a patriotic Pakistani , believe me I'm not amazed after watching this , You know why ?
Reason is simple , if they have no interests with Kashmiris , with Ummah , then why they speak for kashmiris . As we keep our eyes shut for Palestine , Burma , Syria and Iraq because we don't have such interests in them . Just for the sake of information , remember UAE and India have $59.9 billions trade between them .
So going ahead and keeping topic more interesting , lets see the reaction of other Muslim states ;
Coming on the OIC , Organization of Islamic Corporation . It is 2nd largest organization after United Nations which includes 57 members , out of which 53 are Islamic states . One of most feeble voice of world is named as OIC . Resolutions from this platform are considered as ' fall on deaf ear ' by entire world . No doubt they rise voice for Kashmiris at great instant but these voices are considered useless by rest of the World , because of the credibility of OIC for the whole world .
Lets have a look on some statements by OIC regarding Kashmir issue ;
" The OIC General Secretariat has learnt with concern the reports of curtailment of religious freedoms of Kashmiri Muslims in the Indian-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir , including complete lockdown even on the auspicious occasion of Eid , denying Eid Al Adha congregations ." , says OIC in its recent tweet .
" OIC expressed its deep concern over critical situation in IoK and condemn gross human rights violations ; and encourged parties for a negotiated settlement . " , also said .
Moreover , OIC also calls upon UN and other relevant organizations to increase efforts for negotiation between India and Pakistan .
So by the matter of fact , their is no doubt that OIC does something for Kashmir . But just , ORALLY .
Keep going ahead , Iran also gives his reaction on India's brutality in Kashmir . In fact their presented a resolution in Iran's parliament in favour of Kashmiri Muslims .
Malaysian Prime Minister , Mahathir bin Muhammad also gives hi reaction saying ;
" We are keeping an close eye on the situation in J&k "
For me Turkey shows itself as a responsible Muslim state at some extant and speaks for the favour of Kashmiri Nation . Not only their government but they stood for Kashmir as a nation . Lets have a look on Turkey's reaction ;
" President Erdogan shared the concerns on the developing situation in Kashmir and assured of Turkey's steadfast support in this regard " , says Pakistan PM office , after PM Khan's call with President Erdogan .
also many journalists and common Turkish people speaks in favour of Kashmiris against India's brutality .
" Today I participate in the support march to Kashmir in Istanbul . Kashmir will reemain free ! Greetings from Turkey " , says Ali Keskin , Turkish Columnist .
Moreover , their are also protests in Turkey against Indian Brutality in Kashmir . This nation stands in the right way with kashmiris without any interest . In fact they sacrifice their interests by dangering their billions of trade with India .
If you want a simple answer of this question , then listen . It's a game of only self interest . If we didn't had our own interests in Kashmir , I don't think we support Kashmiris at this level . Its a bitter truth , whether you're agreed or not .

Same like that for Arabs , its against their self respects to be vocals of Kashmir . Because they have billions of trade with India .
Now first look at the detail of total bilateral trade comparison of Muslim countries with India and Pakistan , after that you'll come to the fact that Self interest is main thing instead of solidarity with Ummah .
According to statistics , India has total of $100 billion bilateral trade with Muslim countries and almost 7 million Indians work in different Arab countries . So these are very high numbers and their need a great courage for Arabs to neglect these stats .
In comparison with Pakistan , Muslim countries have almost $44 billion bilateral trade with Pakistan. More than half lesser .
Specifically , India-KSA bilateral trade reaches $27.58 billion in 2017-18 with increase of almost $2 billion dollars from last year
Whereas , the total volume of trade between Pakistan and KSA is just $3.6 billion annually . Its not a minor difference .
Same like that bilateral trade with Malaysia , Indian side reaches at almost $16.93 billion in 2017-18 and on other hand Pak-Malaysia trade is just $1.27 billion .
Indo-Iran total bilateral trade reaches at $13.13 billion whereas with Pakistan , the stats are just $1.3 billion
Talking about UAE , for them detestation is grewing in Pakistanis these days .They have total of $59.9 billion trade with India and in comparison of Pakistan , numbers are just $9 billion as of 2014 .
In my opinion their is only one country which stands with Kashmiris by keeping their interests in danger and that country is Turkey . If you look at the stats , Turkey's total bilateral trade with Pakistan is just $596.08 million and as that with India , its total bilateral trade reaches to almost $7 billion .
Its a huge difference , but they neglect their interests and stand with Kashmiris and Pakistan for the sake of soladiraity with nation .
