Its Friday, Sep 6 , 2019 . Time was 9:00 PM , when India's PM Narendra Modi reached ISRO , Indian Space Research Organization's , Head Quarters at Bengaluru because Vikram Lander of Chandrayaan-2 moon mission has to land on the surface of moon between 1:30 AM to 2:30 AM . Whole country was waiting to saw the live landing of Vikram Lander but everyone shocked when ISRO tweeted about his communication loss with lander .

Apparently , Chandrayaan-2 mission was failed . But in this article we will see all the consequences related to the failure or success of Chandrayaan moon mission . We will also discuss the history of Indian Research Organization and different achivements of ISRO and also the history of Chandrayaan missions series . I also discuss part of Pakistani nation played after the failure of Chandrayaan-2 mission . My todays agenda also includes how do we fares in this field .

- What was the history of ISRO and Chandrayaan mission series ?
It was 1962 , when India's first Prime Minister Jawaherlal Nehru felt need of space technology in country and regarding this he created INCOSPAR , Indian National Committee for Space Research . In 1969 , this committee was then named as ISRO , Indian Space Research Organization due to persuading of Vikram Sarabhai , a famous Indian scientist , a physicist and also a astronomer .
ISRO has to much contribution for not only India but for the whole space research history . Number of times this organization achieved its goal . It was the inventer of India's first satellite Aryabhata , which was launched in April 19 , 1975 . Moreover , in 1980 , first time in the history , ISRO sents satellite named Rohini by its own satellite carrying vehicle SLV-3 .

Their achievements were not stop on Rohini . They also have their own Satellite navigation systems named as GAGAN , GPS-aided Geo Augmented Navigation and IRNSS , Indian Regional Navigation System .
Moreover , ISRO also carried many records . On 18 June 2016 , ISRO launched twenty satellites in a single vehicle and right after 7 months it launched its vehicle PSLV-C37 which carried almost hundred and four satellites in it . By the way its a world record till now .
If you're not shocked by the above achievements of India , then listen ...! Not only Moon , in mission Manglyaan , ISRO sends its first orbiter to Mars . I don't know for you its interested or not but for me its a great achievement of India and especially ISRO till now .
So this was the some short history of ISRO . Specifically , if we talk about a series of Chandrayaan Missions . Chandryaan-2 mission is a second moon mission of ISRO . In past on 22 October 2008 , ISRO sends it first moon orbiter named as chandryaan orbiter in moons orbit in its first moon mission , Mission Chandryaan-1 . This mission costs $56 million to ISRO .
ISRO's latest mission is Chandryaan-2 moon mission . This mission was launched to the moon on 22 July 2019 at 2:43 PM . Talking about short description , Chandryaan-2 consists of a lunar orbiter , Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover . Lunar orbiter is orbiter which rotates in moons orbit while the function of Vikram Lander is to land on moons surface containing Pragyan rover in it . Pragyan rover is type of robotic vehicle which will move on moons surface to collect the desire data .
Talking about the objectives of Chandryaan-2 mission , we come to know that its main objective is to measure the abundance of the lunar water and also to locate it .

Hence , this is the history of ISRO and Chandryaan missions . Now we will discuss our other questions we raised above .
- What was the scientific reason of this failure ?
I'm not a scientist or any expert that I'm going to describe every scientific aspect that causes failure of Chandryaan-2 . I'll just give information to you in just simple words that everyone who has scientific background or not , easily understand it .
To understand the whole scenario , you have to understand how the things work . Because after that you'll come to understand the whole scenario of failure .
As I mentioned above that this mission was consist of three parts . One is orbiter , other one is Lander and obviously with a Rover in it . Lets have a example to understand this . Consider you have a car , with you and your driver in it and you're decided for any trip . Just like that their is a spacecraft , like your car , decided for a trip with a Lander , like your driver , and Rover , like you .
To simply understand , consider that the contact of car is lost with driver and you . Same like that communication of Lander was lost with orbiter at just 2.1 km above .
In this case , Lander separates from orbiter at 100 km from the Lunar surface or moon surface . Now the next phase is called rough braking phase in which you have to reduce the Landers speed from almost 21000 km/h to the speed of normal walking , 7 km/h . This is the most difficult phase , many of the missions failed in this phase . But Chandryaan-2 mission crossed this phase according to their plan , very successfully .
Now its time for landing of Vikram Lander . As I mentioned it separates at 100 km above the lunar surface . All the mission was working very successfully , in the ISRO's given trajectory , a path in which it have to land on moon , till 97.9 km . It means right at 2.1 km above the moons surface , the communication of lander was lost with orbiter .

Recent Developments
In recent developments , ISRO finds the location of Vikram lander and they are trying to rehabilitate communication with Lander .
"Location of Vikram Lander found , yet to establish contact " , says ISRO Chief .
" Vikram Lander intact , lying in tilted position on Moon surface " , says ISRO .
" Happy to find Vikram Lander , but concerned about its condition " ,says ISRO PK Ghosh .
But the question is how scientists decided that the image found by orbiter was of Vikram Lander .
" Once the image was taken yesterday ( Saturday ) , we had to to ascertain if the object was saw was Vikram . Then based on the latitude and longitude from the same site . The old images didn't show any objects , which is how we concluded that it was Vikram . " , ISRO Scientists concluded .
- Why many Pakistanis glad on failure of Chandryaan-2 ?
This part of my article is to take notice on the reaction of many Pakistanis after the failure of Chandryaan-2 . I will also try to show the mirror to us , as what was our achievements in this field and we are trolling on others failure .
Lets differ the Indian Space Program and Pakistan Space program to make a difference .
SUPARCO , Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission , is the national space agency of Pakistan . While ISRO , Indian Space Research Organization , is the national space agency of India .
ISRO done number of remarkable work for space and also for the interest of India too , while not even a single remarkable achievement was done by SUPARCO on their own till now .
Their are 116 satellites in space which were launched by ISRO while their are only 4 satellites of Pakistan in Space and none of it launched by SUPARCO on their own . All of them are designed and launched by different countries especially China .
Infact looking at Space launch vehicles , their was not even a one remarkable vehicle made by SUPARCO but ISRO has list of its own space carrying vehicles , carrying upto tons of weight in space .
Concluding all this , it is clear that Indians are way beyond in space technology then Pakistan . Although , SUPARCO was founded in 1961 instead of ISRO which launched in 1969 . But their achievements are way beyond then Pakistan and it a bitter reality for us .
So , I tell all this to show mirror to ourselves . and you people come to know that what we actually are but its totally shocking for me , for many Pakistanis also and even for the whole world that what type of reaction we people give after the communication loss of Chandryaan-2 .
Our Pakistani Minister for Science and Technology , Fawad Ch , trolled Indians very badly after communication gots lost of lander .
He termed Indian space craft as toy and asked Indian citizens to sleep and not wait for moon . He also trolled Modi on its speach in ISRO head quarters and called him Asrtonaut .
" Modi is giving speach on satellites communication as though he was actually he was a astronaut , not a politician " , says Fawad Ch .
My answer on this bullshit by Fawad Ch is that . Mr Ch , then why are you talking on this as you done your Bachelors in Arts and now you're Minister of Science and technology .
My advice is to Fawad Ch is , just be ashamed on your deeds .

Guys its not their loss . Its our loss if we looks into our own soul regarding this .
Their are also some educated people in Pakistan which doesn't consider it as failure for India . Infact they consider it a Win in loss for India .
" Reading tweets on the failure of the Indian mission, what kind of nation are we who are rejoicing over its failure rather than subjecting the opponent to its success? Could The destiny of nations can only change with hard work and positive thinking " , says Iqrar ul hassan , a journalist .
" Making fun of crashed Indian Mission to Moon is like a local uni dropout drawing parallels with Harvard uni dropouts . We aren't even in the race to reach the moon . Better we focus on improving and expanding our own space program otherwise we will be eating a humble pie in the end " , says Jibran Nasir , social activist .
- Is Chandrayaan-2 moon mission a failure for India ?
But If we look , we come to the point that successful moving of orbiter around Moon was also a success of this mission on its own . In my opinion , Mission wasn't failed , just landing will fail . This incident was not failure , infact it was the Win in loss for India .

If we talk about US , it has list of moon missions that failed several times .
Lets have a look at that list :
On 17 August 1958 , Pioneer 0 mission failed.
On 11 October 1958 , Pioneer 1 mission failed.
On 8 November 1958 , Pioneer 2 mission failed. On 6 December 1958 , Pioneer 3 mission failed.
On 24 September 1959 , Pioneer P-1 mission failed.
On 29 November 1959 , Pioneer P-3 mission failed.
On 25 September 1960 , Pioneer P-30 mission failed.
On 15 December 1960 , Pioneer P-31 mission failed.
On 23 August 1961 , Ranger 1 mission failed.
On 18 November 1961 , Ranger 2 mission failed.
On 26 Januarry 1962 , Ranger 3 mission failed.
On 18 October 1962 , Ranger 5 mission failed.
On 30 January 1964 , Ranger 6 mission failed.
Same like that there was also list of moon missions by Soveit Union that fails . If you look at just Luna , a moon mission by Soveit Union , it will failed several times and at the end they got successful .
In total conclusion of whole topic . I don't know India will able to establish its contact with its lander in future , but for me its a great effort and May Allah make them successful in this .
